Mary J. Blige Hints at Final Album

Mary J. Blige has recently hinted that her upcoming album may be her final project. In a series of interviews, including one with People, Blige confirmed she’s currently working on her 15th studio album and suggested it could be her last. She expressed a sense of fulfillment with her career, describing how much fun she’s having creating this new music, but also acknowledging that this may be a conclusion to her recording journey.

Blige, often referred to as the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, has enjoyed over three decades of success, producing hits and earning accolades along the way. In a recent interview, she discussed her inspiration for this potential final album, noting her focus on love, life, and peace, while embracing the highs and lows that come with it. Despite the possibility of retirement, she’s hinted that she’s not done just yet, stating she may retire from music within the next five to six years.
