Rapper Rich Homie Quan Dead at 34 — Fulton County Medical Examiner Has Not Revealed Cause of Death

Rich Homie Quan, the Atlanta rapper known for hits like “Type of Way” and “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh),” tragically passed away on September 5, 2024, at the age of 34. The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed his death, though the cause has not yet been revealed. Quan, whose real name was Dequantes Devontay Lamar, was found unresponsive at his home in southwest Atlanta and was later pronounced dead at Grady Memorial Hospital. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause.​
