Dancehall musician Danny English passed away on Thursday evening, January 23, 2025, at Kingston Public Hospital in Jamaica, at the age of 54. Beginning his career in 1995, Danny became well-known for his unique raspy voice featured on the 2002 hit “Party Time.” This track, which he performed with Egg Nog, was set to the Diwali riddim produced by Steven ‘Lenky’ Marsden. Family sources have disclosed that English’s death followed a battle with diabetes.
