“Tropicoqueta” is Karol G’s fifth studio album, released on June 20, 2025 via Bichota Records/Interscope. Its title merges “tropical” and “coqueta” (flirty), and the album blends Latin pop, cumbia, reggaeton, merengue, bachata, vallenato, and mariachi, reflecting her cultural roots.

Karol G reimagines herself beyond past personas (“Bichota” and “Bebesita”) within a telenovela-inspired narrative—complete with vignettes, cabaret visuals, and old‑school Latin rhythms. She recreates melodramatic telenovela scenes in the promo, playing a villain alongside stars like Ricky Martin, Itatí Cantoral, and Anahí.

Tropicoqueta marks Karol G's most ambitious and culturally rich project yet—an auditory and visual celebration of Latin womanhood, heritage, and dramatic flair.
